Master Identity Key
Sovereign Single Sign-On.
One master passphrase. A single derived client-side root key that securely generates independent, private credentials for your emails, drive, calendar, and chat folders.
Root Key Protection
The Master Identity Key (MIK) is generated locally on your device. It serves as the single secure origin for your entire workspace. Rather than uploading multiple credentials to a cloud host, sub-app keys are unlocked on the fly in your local memory.
Isolated Credentials
By using contextual labels, your single root key derives mathematically separate sub-keys for Mail, Drive, and Chat without revealing your master credentials to our networks or cloud hosts.
Derivation Architecture Flow
How your root seed generates isolated keys for each workspace app.
1. Local Seed Unlock
Your master passphrase unlocks your root Master Identity Key (MIK) envelope locally on your device.
2. Contextual Expansion
When loading Mail, the client generates a unique, isolated unlock key bound specifically to your inbox context.
3. Cryptographic Isolation
Unlike other providers who hold one master unlock key on their backend databases, each child key in Foxcolab is mathematically isolated.
